CBSE NCERT Solutions for Chapter 5 Arithmetic Progressions Class 10 Maths

Sequence of any number is set of number following some pattern. Progressions are also type of sequence. Arithmetic progression or AP is the sequence of numbers having a common difference between them. Each number in an AP succeeds previous numbers by a particular number. The number is known as common difference. If the first term of an AP is a, and common difference is d, then the nth term is given as a+(n-1)d. The chapter is all about such sequences, some word problems based on it, finding nth number and common difference of the given series.  Next topic is finding sum of first n terms of the given AP. Different types of questions are asked on AP and sum of n terms of an AP.
