CBSE NCERT Solutions for Chapter 13 Surface, Area and Volume Class 10 Maths
From Class IX, we are familiar with some of the solids like cuboid, cone, cylinder, and sphere. We have also learnt how to find their surface areas and volumes. In general life, we find a solid object which is not of such geometrical shapes but is a combination of one or more than one solid figure. Volume and surface area of solid figures are discussed. Next topic is conversion of one solid figure to another by the process of melting and reforming. Frustum of a Cone is the next topic. Frustum can be carved from cones. Bucket is an example of frustum. Its volume and surface area is studied and questions are asked on this. 5 exercises are there in this chapter.
