CBSE NCERT Solutions for Chapter 10 Circles Class 10 Maths

We have studied earlier that a circle is a collection of all points in a plane which are at a constant distance (radius) from a fixed point (centre). Also we have studied various terms related to a circle like chord, segment, sector, arc etc. We know all these terms. Concept of tangent is discussed in this chapter. It is a line passing through only one point of the circle. There is only one tangent at a point of the circle. The tangent at any point of a circle is perpendicular to the radius through the point of contact. Such things are important to remember. From the point outside the circle, only two tangents can be drawn. The lengths of tangents drawn from an external point to a circle are equal. Questions are asked on these concepts. Questions are asked on these concepts.  Two exercises are there in this chapter.
